Being a mom is hard, but being a mom to a child with ADHD is a whole different level of challenging. As a mom of a child with ADHD, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to help your child manage their symptoms and succeed in school and social situations. The products that have helped us:

  1. Fidget Toys

Fidget toys have been a lifesaver for my kid. He struggles with restlessness and has a hard time staying focused on one task for very long. But when he has a fidget toy in his hand, it’s like magic – he’s able to channel his energy into something productive and focus better. Plus, they’re fun! My child loves his fidget spinner and squishy ball, but there are so many options out there to choose from. But you do not have to by anything fancy as most things can become a fidget toy in the right hands; like a piece of Lego or a chopstick.

  1. Sensory Equipment

Sensory equipment has been a game-changer for my child’s anxiety and mood regulation. He loves his weighted blanket and sensory swing, and they’ve helped him feel more calm and centered. Plus, they’re great for physical exercise!

Sensory equipment can be expensive. But there are ways to make it affordable, such as finding deals on Facebook Marketplace or making your own sensory items.
There are guides on how to make a weighted blanket all over the internet. The only thing you need to get right is the blanket-to-kid ratio, so that it isn’t too heavy.

  1. Executive Functioning Apps

Executive functioning skills are crucial for success in life, but they can be particularly challenging for kids with ADHD. That’s why we started using executive functioning apps to help my child with time management, organization, and planning.

It’s amazing how much more organized and on top of things my child has become! Plus, the apps are fun and easy to use, so it doesn’t feel like a chore.

In conclusion, these products help my ADHD kid. And made a huge difference in his life – and I hope they can do the same for yours. As moms, we want to do everything we can to support our children with ADHD and help them thrive. By providing them with tools like fidget toys, sensory equipment, and executive functioning apps, we can help them manage their symptoms and reach their full potential.
